Holiday Care Center Testimonials
I am writing to you on behalf of the family of Ada Solomon to thank the many people who helped our mother while she was at Holiday Care Center. Although “one size (never) fits all,” there are a few general comments appropriate for everyone who worked with her. It is evident that the Holiday Care Center is aptly named since our mother was treated with caring, kindness, consideration, and understanding throughout her stay. Staff members who delivered her meals, attended to her personal care, conducted her therapy, administered her medications, dealt with her often-changing moods, and generally oversaw her care did so with warmth and humanness. I would especially like to name the following people (I hope you can identify them without last names) as being particularly noteworthy: Ellen (supplied important information), Jill (day charge nurse who provided exceptional support), Debbie (often administered “meds”), Barbara (assisted with personal care and shared friendly conversation), Annette (brought fresh coffee daily), Maddie and Susan (therapists), Pam (answered many questions), Donna and Vanessa (attended to personal needs). Many others, whose names escape me, performed small kindnesses.
And so, many thanks for making a difficult time easier for Mom, and for us.

Dear Sirs:
Today I am writing this letter to express my appreciation to Holiday Care Center for the quality of care I received during my recent stay in the sub-acute wing.
The staff members overall were friendly and responsive to my questions and concerns. The physical therapy team was great. They treated me with respect and made me feel welcome. I will be leaving this facility pain free with improved mobility. Social services were very helpful with my adjustment here and responded promptly to my concerns.
The facility was very clean, and my visitors commented on how well it was maintained. My room was comfortable and bright, and I liked the food most of the time.
I would definitely recommend Holiday Care Center to others who might be in need of such services, and thank you all for such a positive experience.
Sincerely,
Alvin Griggs, former Washington Residential Unit Resident

To JoAnn, Kelly, and all those who cared with kindness, and respect to my father, during his stay at Holiday Care Center.
I sincerely appreciate your many thoughtful ways you made him smile, just taking a few extra minutes of your time. Also thank you to Antonio Torres who was dad’s aide most of the time.
The family of Frank Kay acknowledges with deep appreciation your kind expression of sympathy.

Dear Dottie,
On behalf of everyone at the Jersey Shore Animal Center, I would like to thank you and the staff and residents of Holiday Care Center for your extremely generous donations of items from our Wish List collected on “Make a Difference Day.” As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on contributions from the public in order to provide food, shelter and medical care for the more than 140 animals currently in our care. Your support makes a real difference to the animals who are here with us awaiting their new forever homes.
Thank you again and please visit us soon.

Dear Director of Activities and staff,
On behalf of myself and my husband, I would like to take this time to thank all of you who work so hard to make Christmas so special for mom, (Doris Zanetti of Applewood), and all the other patients.
I know that if the patients were able they would thank you themselves. I know that it took many hours of coordinating to put the program together. I can’t express how thankful I am that you always take the time to plan trips and various other activities to keep all patients motivated and moving all the time. My mom has definitely benefited by being in your facility.
We would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and the hope that the New Year brings all of you lots of health and happiness.
Thanks again and may God Bless You All.
Love,
Diane and Bob Hochstuhl

Dear Administrator,
I was discharged from Holiday Care Center on Dec. 11th. I’m writing to let you know that the therapy dept was very good. They are very capable in what they do. My two therapists, Beverly and Lovelle, were excellent. That is why I’m writing this note so you will know. They really kept me going. All the staff there were good too.
Yours Truly,
Doris Silk

To The Staff at Holiday Care Center,
I was a patient of yours from 3/17/09 to 3/24/09 and I must write to let you know that I have absolutely no complaints of the treatment I was given at your facility.
Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The therapy staff was also pleasant, as were the folks who served meals.
I would certainly recommend Holiday Care Center, and have already done so, to many of my friends who have visited me.
Thank you once again.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Price

Dear Staff on Applewood,
Just a note to thank you so very much for giving such detailed attention to Patsy Peckillo on his outing to our home on Sunday.
We, as a family, with friends came to celebrate Patsy’s 95 birthday. It was grand!
God bless you all! A special thanks to the aides who dressed and groomed him. Everyone in the family was impressed…
Holiday Care Center really takes care of its residents!
Sincerely,
