Toms River, NJ- Mid Atlantic Geriatric Association is hosting a symposium, Alzheimer’s Disease: The Disease with Two Victims, on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This event is co-hosted by Silverwoods, located at 1700 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ. The event will be held in the spacious Silverwoods Clubhouse.
This one-day symposium will offer information about Alzheimer’s Disease: its origin and process; coping skills in caring for the older adult; current and future medication expectations; availability of research medications; legal and financial advice; and access to support networks.
Featured speakers will include Joshua Shua-Haim, MD, FACP, AGSF, CMD of Mid Atlantic Geriatric Association and Robert C. Novy, of Novy & Associates, L.L.C.
